Preliminary note – Classification of Water Management as “discontinued operation”

On September 23, 2025, NORMA Group signed an agreement to sell its Water Management business to Advanced Drainage Systems, Inc. (ADS), headquartered in Hilliard, Ohio (USA). The transaction was completed on February 2, 2026. NORMA Group classified the Water Management business as “discontinued operation” in accordance with IFRS 5 as of July 31, 2025. In accordance with IFRS 5, the statement of comprehensive income was retrospectively adjusted to present the profit or loss from continuing operations and the profit or loss after tax from the discontinued operation separately. The comparative period was also adjusted accordingly. The assets and liabilities attributable to the Water Management business were classified as "held for sale" in accordance with IFRS 5 as of July 31, 2025, and are presented separately. The assets are measured at the lower of carrying amount and fair value less costs to sell. Depreciation on the affected assets was suspended from the date of classification. A retrospective adjustment of prior-year figures is not required under IFRS 5. Therefore, a prior-year comparison for individual balance sheet items is only possible to a limited extent. NOTES
